Welcome to Child Network!

Child Network has two distinct programs, the Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) and Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). Child Network is a not for profit organization.

Child Network's mission is to improve the response to child sexual and physical abuse and to advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children in the court system in Kankakee County.

Established in 1994 as the Children's Advocacy Center, the agency focus was on serving
sexually abused children in the community. In 1998, the agency broadened its mission to include volunteers who advocate for the best interest of abused and neglected children in the court system (CASA). At that time the agency officially changed its name to Child Network to include both programs that work (focus on) with abused and neglected children.

Child Network is accredited through the National Children's Alliance and the National Court Appointed Special Advocate Association.
